Welcome to the HAAR Election Hub. Stay informed, meet your candidates, and make your voice heard in the upcoming Leadership Elections.
HAAR is thrilled to begin the process of our membership choosing the association’s next group of leaders. To provide more opportunity to run for office, elections for 2027 Officers and Directors will run separately.
Additionally, a Special Election will be held to fill a vacant President-elect position. Please see below for voting information and important dates.
Two roles with the 2027 Executive Committee will be up for a vote: Treasurer and ValleyMLS President. The slate of candidates for these positions will be announced on Monday, September 14th via an email to membership.

Director candidates are running for four open seats on the HAAR Board of Directors and two open seats on the ValleyMLS Board. The slate of candidates for these positions will be announced on Friday, October 16th

Eligibility Note: Active REALTOR® members in good standing are eligible to cast a ballot. Affiliate members and non-licensed staff are non-voting per HAAR bylaws.
I didn’t receive my ballot email. What should I do?
First, check your spam/junk folder for an email from HAAR Elections. If you still cannot locate it, contact HAAR Support at ELECTIONS@HAAR.realtor or call 256.536.3334 to verify your primary email address.
Can I change my vote after submitting?
No. Once a ballot is submitted online, it is finalized and cannot be modified.
How was the slate selected?
Candidates submitted formal applications and were reviewed by the Nominating according to the HAAR bylaws.
How does the petitioning process work?
Members seeking nomination outside the Nominating Committee slate must submit the required petition signatures between the petition opening and closing dates listed on the timeline.
