Fast Stats for January 2018

Home sales slowed down in January but as a whole were better than a year ago.  The month saw 443 units sold which is 126 less than December of 2017 which saw 569 units sold. Only 400 units were sold in January of 2017. Average sales price was $212, 547 which is down $11,626 from December 2017 ($224,173). Average sales price is up from January 2017 ($196,110)  The average days on market, the time it takes from when a listing enters the market until it receives a ratified contract, is still low at only 76 days. Days on Market a year ago were higher at 82 days. Inventory continues to remain low with 1,823 active listings on the market. In December 2017 there were 1,894 active listings, only 71 more listings than January 2018.
