Meet Sean Magers: Director of Communications & Government Affairs at HAAR & ValleyMLS!
Sean’s days can be a dynamic whirlwind! He’s behind our major events, ARPAC fundraising, ensuring REALTOR® Champions are elected to local office, and more. No two days are the same at HAAR and ValleyMLS, which Sean says is one of his favorite parts of serving our members.
Nearing his five-year mark in July, Sean says he’s in charge of the “fun stuff” 
—Government Affairs and Communications. That means keeping our members informed and ensuring the REALTOR® perspective is included when public policy is being crafted in north Alabama.
Inspiration Behind the Work:
Sean says he’s inspired by knowing he plays a role, even in a small way, in helping our REALTOR® and Affiliate members achieve success. HAAR victories are member victories and vice versa.
Fun Facts and More:
Sean hails from Hawthorne, New Jersey, but he’s an Alabama native at heart. He’s a UAH alum but enjoys cheering for Alabama and the 49ers during football season. His ideal weekend consists of taking his dog, Gator, to the park and brunch at Brass Tap with friends.
