The Alabama Real Estate Commission (AREC) recently released a “Final Warning” on Social Media advertisements. Please take a moment and CLICK HERE to read this message from AREC in the download-able PDF.
For clarification, this does not mean that you must change your abbreviated name in your MLS listings. The AREC announcement means that, when you’re advertising a listing on social media, best practices would be to only advertise from your business social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc) page. This page should exactly match the information that AREC has for your name and company name.
