HAAR welcomes new staff Abbi Johnson (L) and Daniela Perallon (R)
HAAR is pleased to announce two new hires in our effort to enhance services for each and every member. In their newly created positions, Abbi Johnson and Daniela Perallon were introduced at this week’s Board meeting and begin work with HAAR this week and next, respectively.
Abbi has joined us as our new Board Services Coordinator. She comes to us from WAFF48, where she served as the digital content manager and the host of Tennessee Valley Weekend. In her new position at HAAR, Abbi will coordinate meetings, work with affiliate programs and sponsorships, set up travel logistics, and oversee our professional standards programs. She is a graduate of Jacksonville State University where she studied Communications, and is married to her husband Jake, with whom she has a two-year-old poodle named Creo William Johnson.
Next week, Daniela will begin her work at HAAR as our new Realtor Party Coordinator and Marketing Manager. She comes to us from Arts Huntsville where she’s worn many hats as the Marketing and Public Relations Manager, overseeing promotions of large-scale community events like the Panoply Arts Festival, as well as various public art initiatives, arts education programs and the arts community at large.
Daniela moved to Huntsville in 2011 as a journalist for WHNT News 19 where she reported extensively on city government, local elections and education throughout the Tennessee Valley. Outside of work, Daniela co-hosts and produces the show Know Huntsville, highlighting the artists, creators, musicians and small businesses that make Huntsville unique. In her role at HAAR, Daniela will work to advance our political and community relationships for the Realtor Party, working with our governmental affairs and advocacy efforts. She will be primarily working in communications, marketing, and events as well as assisting us with video and graphic design projects.
Please join us in welcoming Abbi and Daniela, and say hello if you see a new face at our office the next time you drop by!
