HAAR is thrilled to announce the hiring of Julie Klein as our newest team member and Assistant Finance Director! Julie comes to us from Rapid City, South Dakota where she worked in account analytics and cash management. Previously, Julie has served as the mayor of Hill City, South Dakota.
Julie was born in Jacksonville, Florida and has lived in some of the most beautiful parts of the country as her father worked with the National Park Service, including Chincoteague Island, Mt. Rushmore, Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and Canyonland National Parks. She credits her time in these locations for her love of the outdoors.
Julie has one son (Joe) and two stepsons (Jacob and Jordan). She and her husband, Joe, have been married for 5 years, but they have known each other since the 4th grade.
Before her most recent stint in South Dakota, Julie called North Alabama home for more than 25 years, most recently serving as the AR/AP manager at Lakeland Industries in Decatur.
Julie graduated from UNA with degrees in Interior Design and Business Management. Her hobbies consist of scrapbooking, hiking, reading and gardening with a love to "dig in the dirt"!
