The City of Madison has announced proposed impact fees that would apply to every new construction, whether that’s a new house or an addition to an existing home.
As a member-driven organization focused on homeownership and private property rights, we are concerned the impact fees as discussed will price the middle class out of the American Dream of buying a home.
