Energy Alabama recently congratulated HAAR for our significant improvement in reducing our energy consumption and related energy expenditures in the North Alabama Buildings Performance Challenge. Under the leadership of Al Dancy at HAAR offices, we are proud to announce that we have reduced our energy consumption by 24% annually, energy bills by 11% annually, and our greenhouse gas emissions by 15% annually since 2015. This represents a cost savings of just under $7,500.
“HAAR should take pride for improvement to its property both for the savings it is achieving and for the betterment of our community by committing to energy efficiency,” said Daniel Tait, Chief Operating Officer for Energy Alabama, in a letter this month to HAAR.
