A message from 2024 President Lore Hislop

Dear valued HAAR member,
I am so excited to serve you this year as your 2024 President. Hopefully you had an exceptional holiday with your families and are looking forward to a successful 2024 year of real estate. As REALTORSĀ®, we have many opportunities put in our lives, and this year I want to encourage each one of you to explore those opportunities as they come along.
This year my theme is “Keeping the REAL in REALTORĀ®“. Listed below are four ways we can keep it real here in our own communities. I encourage you to read and meditate on these four ideas, and use them as a jumping off point for your personal goals this year.Ā 
By seeking opportunities to volunteer, serving your clients, and supporting your Association, you will grow into a leader and make a difference in your life and the lives of those around you for the better.Ā 
  • Reach Out: serve your clients, Association, and colleagues.
  • Engage in your REALTORĀ® community: sign up for volunteer work or donate time and resources to charity.
  • A ccept and ask about opportunities at HAAR: start your leadership journey by giving back to your market.
  • Lead with professionalism: focus on hard work and a servant mindset in all that you do.
Our industry faces multiple challenges in the coming year, but I want to assure you that your Leadership Team is paying attention! We are listening and we are leading HAAR through the many changes in front of us.Ā 
Nationally, the REALTORĀ® brand is being challenged and different ideas and trends are evolving. Please know that we are listening and responding, and we are working 24/7 along with staff and your Board of Directors to serve you.
You, our members, are top of mind when we are making decisions. Let us move forward into 2024 andĀ KEEP the REAL in REALTORĀ®!
