On Wednesday, September 25, HAAR staff joined together for our annual staff professional development and team building day. We started the morning off with breakfast and a craft project before our morning sessions.
Senior Director of Finance and HAAR Operations Katy Fitzgerald and Director of Association Outreach Sean Magers discussed HAAR’s Strategic Plan and how each staff member’s duties and responsibilities apply to each of the plan’s five key principals. Staff then brainstormed ideas on how we can better support each of these principals as well as ValleyMLS.com’s five project goals.Ā
Senior Director of ValleyMLS.com Operations Rhonda Ricketts and Director of Member Services Page Brooks led a discussion what customer service means, how both HAAR and ValleyMLS.com can step up our game and improve these services, and enhance communications with coworkers, members, and subscribers alike.

After a morning of learning and discussion, we took over Dave & Busters for lunch and a series of organized Team Building activities that challenged our skills, trivia, and sense of humor! We were also thrilled to be joined by our newest coworker, Debra Guy, for the entire day.Ā
