As real estate brokers and agents, we sustain the American Dream of homeownership, and nearly all of us rely upon the North Alabama MLS system to do that important work. 2018 has been an exciting chapter in our MLS’s history launching a slew of new tools, technology, and receiving some national attention for doing so, all while maintaining the listing database that powers our marketplace. Our public search site, ValleyMLS.com has seen record gains of viewership with the launch of our new user interface and our consumer campaign in partnership with our local NBC affiliate, WAFF48 News. And the year is just getting started…
As the leadership of the largest regional MLS partnership in Alabama, we just wanted to take a moment and thank you for your continued partnership and membership. When we all work together, it’s amazing what we can accomplish. $2,688,168,033.00 total sales volume occurred in the first 6 months of 2018 through the power of partnership among our 6 Realtor® associations that make up our NALMLS database. The MLS is nothing short of a miracle… thousands of competitors cooperating to make homeownership happen and powering a piece of the overall North Alabama economy. That’s the real power of the North Alabama MLS.
