On Saturday, June 26, 2021 the Huntsville Area Association of REALTORS® awarded its annual Broker Excellence Award, sponsored by Supreme Lending, recognizing a broker who exemplifies professionalism, leadership, agent training, and association involvement. The award was presented at the REALTOR® Roundup, a western-themed event aimed at reuniting REALTOR® members in a safe way for the first time after pandemic restrictions.
This year, HAAR awarded the 2020 Broker Excellence Award to Carey Rosenblum.
About Carey Rosenblum
Carey Rosenblum’s high standards have served HAAR members, our community, his colleagues and clients well. He’s shared his time and talents as a HAAR President, as an ombudsman, on our Professional Standards committee, as a Director for almost a decade, and in handfuls of other positions.
Carey has earned CRS, GRI, ABR, MRP and SRES designations over a storied and successful career. He is known for his integrity and the example he sets for his agents, and taking pride in giving each one every opportunity to grow their own career. His experience and focus on open communication have lifted up our entire industry.
Outside of HAAR and real estate, Carey has served as an Elder and Deacon at Maysville Church, in several leadership positions at the Huntsville Area Exchange Club, on the board at Madison Academy, and a Habitat for Humanity Director for eight years.
At Rosenblum Realty, Carey provides content for weekly team meetings every Monday morning that pushes his colleagues to better communicate and provide for clients. These topics include real-life discussions of scenarios that have surfaced in transactions, how to look for ways to provide winning solutions for clients, and partnering with businesses that support the entire regional real estate market like inspectors, attorneys, lenders, and a variety of other home service vendors.
Providing opportunity for agents has always been a priority for Carey, connecting with leading industry experts who help offer new and innovative trainings. Recently, he opened his company’s doors to all agents in ValleyMLS who wanted to take a new training from Ninja Installation.

Carey takes great pride in making opportunity available to each agent for them to grow their career and enrich their lives. He has taken new agents with him to shadow client consultations, and every phase of the transaction to the closing table giving them the first hand view of every aspect of the transaction.
He continues to provide connections and leads for his agents, and will also deliver leads to agent to work as their own, and then coach them through the process. This one-on-one strategy with his agents is extremely valuable to make sure each detail is accomplished, and gives individual agents a sense of fulfillment in helping to ensure client needs are listened to, understood, and achieved.
