The Alabama Real Estate Commission (AREC) announced today, April 21, 2020, during their regular public meeting they would extend the option for REALTORS® to attend continuing education classes and earn CE hours through virtual platforms like Zoom.
AREC had previously indicated that the virtual option for classroom courses would expire on April 30, 2022. On March 1, HAAR President Isaac Winkles and Josh McFall wrote to the commission, urging them to reconsider extending the virtual classroom option until the continuing education deadline on September 30, 2022.
