HAAR is thrilled to announce the return of Christina Hearne as our Professional Development Administrator!
Christina comes back to us from the local nonprofit, Village of Promise where she was the Development and Marketing Director. Ā Ā Prior to that, she was a Program Director for Leadership Greater Huntsville where she ran their Focus and Alumni programs. During her previous 8-year tenure at HAAR, she held a variety of leadership roles and served our members through Professional Development, Governmental Affairs, and Communications/Marketing.
Christina is a Huntsville native and a graduate of the University of Alabama, holding a B.S. degree in Communications with a focus in Advertising and Graphic Design.
Christina served on the Board of Directors of the Madison County Chapter of the American Red Cross from 2014-2019. Her focus was on Volunteer Engagement and she also served as Secretary of the Board for several years. Further, she has served on the planning committee for The Future and Beyond: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Symposium since 2018. She is a graduate of the Leadership Greater Huntsville-Connect program (C14), and the Diversity Leadership Colloquium (DLC) as part of cohort XIII. She is an active member and volunteer at First Baptist Church-Huntsville, currently serving as a Trustee.
Christina and her husband John have 2 children ā Lainey (11) and John Michael, III. (6). She loves spending time with her family, traveling as often as possible, and taking Taekwondo with her son.
