Official Slate of Candidates for the 2024 Election of Officers & Directors
To all Members of the Huntsville Area Association of REALTORSĀ®,
The official Slate of Candidates for the 2024 Election of Officers & Directors has been determined.
Over a two-week period, the Directors Qualification Committee conducted interviews of all Members who applied and met the initial requirements for an Officer or Director position for HAAR & ValleyMLS.
We would first like to thank all of our Members who applied for a position and were willing to participate in this important process. It was a great pleasure to see so many Members interested in getting more involved with the Association.
Official Slate of Candidates for the 2024 Election of Officers & Directors
ā¢ Petition: Applicants who were not nominated for the official Slate of Candidates and would like to file for petition must do so by 5pm on Friday, September 20th. In order to successfully petition, the applicant must still meet the minimum requirements necessary to run for an Officer or Director position. The applicant must also obtain signatures from 20% of all HAAR Members with no more than 25% of those signatures being from the same office. Per HAAR Policy, this petition along with the supporting signatures must be submitted before the deadline to the HAAR & ValleyMLS CEO, Kurtis Krueger.
ā¢ Final Slate: The final Slate of Candidates will be announced on Friday, September 27th after all petitions (if any) have been submitted and reviewed. This Slate will be the final Slate which the Members will choose from to cast their votes.
ā¢ Election of Officers & Directors: The Election of Officers and Directors will open at 9am on Friday, October 4th and close at 5pm on Monday, October 7th.
ā¢ Announcement of Election Results: The results of the Election will be announced at the Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday, October 10th.
